Acquisition of ISCC PLUS certification

We are pleased to announce that our Kyushu factory, located in Kanzaki-gun, Saga Prefecture, has recently acquired the ISCC PLUS* certification — one of the leading international certification systems for sustainable products.

This certification ensures that recycled and bio-based raw materials are properly managed throughout the supply chain, including during the manufacturing process. With this recent certification, we are now able to handle products that include low-carbon raw materials using the mass balance approach.

Through the acquisition of this certification and the provision of products containing low-carbon-derived raw materials, we will continue to strengthen our efforts towards the realisation of a sustainable society.

*ISCC (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification) is a globally recognized system for certifying sustainability and carbon reduction. ISCC PLUS ensures traceability and sustainability throughout the supply chain, particularly for bio-based and recycled raw materials and products.
